By accessing and using the Line-UP website, mobile application, or any of our premium barbershop services (collectively, the "Services"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Services or access our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates to these terms.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "User," or "you") and Line-UP ("we," "us," or "our"), a premium barbershop service provider operating through our Shopify-powered platform. By booking any service or using our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or have parental consent.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or through our platform notifications.

Required Booking Information

To ensure we provide the best possible service, the following information is required for all bookings:

Appointment Confirmation Process

All appointments require confirmation through your preferred communication method. You will receive confirmation via email, SMS, or phone call within 2 hours of booking during business hours. Appointments made outside business hours will be confirmed the following business day.

Appointment Changes and Rescheduling

Changes to appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees. We understand that emergencies occur and will work with clients on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, illness, or emergency situations.

Payment Terms

Pricing Structure

Payment Timing and Processing

Payment is typically due at the completion of services unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance. For package bookings, special events, or services exceeding €200, advance payment may be required.

Gratuities and Tips

While not required, gratuities are appreciated and can be added to any payment method. Recommended tipping ranges from 15-20% of the service total for exceptional service.

Flexible Policy

Line-UP Initiated Cancellations

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your appointment, we will provide as much advance notice as possible and offer the following compensations:

  • Minimum 24 hours notice whenever possible
  • Priority rebooking at your preferred time and stylist
  • Full refund of any prepaid amounts
  • Complimentary service upgrade for the inconvenience
  • Transportation compensation for travel exceeding 30km

Late Arrival Policy

To maintain our schedule and respect other clients' appointments, the following late arrival policy applies:

  • Grace period of 10 minutes with no penalty or service reduction
  • 11-15 minutes late: Service time reduced proportionally
  • 16-30 minutes late: Service may need to be rescheduled
  • More than 30 minutes late: Treated as no-show with full cancellation fees

Weather and Emergency Exceptions

We understand that severe weather, public transportation strikes, or genuine emergencies may prevent timely arrival. In such cases, please contact us immediately for special consideration and flexible rescheduling options.

Line-UP maintains a premium, professional environment where all clients and staff deserve respect and courtesy. We expect all clients to conduct themselves appropriately.

Treat all staff members with courtesy, respect, and professionalism at all times.
Punctuality
Arrive on time for appointments and notify us immediately of any delays.
Health & Safety
Follow all health guidelines and disclose any conditions that may affect services.
Honest Communication
Provide accurate information about allergies, medications, and previous treatments.

Prohibited Conduct

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate service termination:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior toward staff or other clients
  • Being under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or controlled substances
  • Disruptive behavior that affects other clients' experience
  • Unauthorized photography, video recording, or livestreaming
  • Bringing weapons or dangerous items into the establishment
  • Theft or damage to property, equipment, or products
  • Violation of health and safety protocols or guidelines
  • Inappropriate physical contact or sexual harassment

Enforcement and Consequences

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate appointments, or permanently ban clients who violate these conduct standards. No refunds will be provided for services terminated due to client misconduct. Severe violations may result in legal action.

Our total liability for any claims arising from our services, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government regulations, pandemics, strikes, or equipment failures.

Insurance and Professional Standards

Line-UP maintains appropriate professional liability insurance and adheres to industry standards. Our liability is limited to the coverage provided by our insurance policies and applicable law.

Intellectual Property

Line-UP Intellectual Property

All content on our website, mobile application, and marketing materials, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, videos, software, and trademarks, is the property of Line-UP and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limited License

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our website and mobile application for personal, non-commercial purposes related to booking and receiving our services. This license does not include any rights to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works.

Photography and Media Rights

By receiving services at Line-UP, you consent to photography and video recording for business purposes, including marketing, social media, website content, and promotional materials, unless you explicitly opt out in writing. You may request removal of your image at any time by contacting us directly.

Before/After Photos
Professional photos showcasing our work may be used for portfolio and marketing purposes with your consent.
Social Media
Images may be shared on our social media platforms to showcase our services and client satisfaction.

User-Generated Content

Any content you submit, including reviews, comments, or feedback, becomes our property and may be used for marketing and promotional purposes. You warrant that you own all rights to such content and grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use it.

Termination

Termination by Client

You may stop using our services at any time without notice. Prepaid packages and services will be refunded according to our cancellation policy and applicable terms. Account data will be retained according to our Privacy Policy and legal requirements.

Termination by Line-UP

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our services for clients who violate these Terms, engage in misconduct, pose a threat to staff or other clients, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Termination may be immediate and without prior notice.

Immediate Termination
Serious violations including harassment, threats, or illegal activities result in immediate permanent termination.
Warning System
Minor violations may result in warnings before termination, depending on the severity and frequency of incidents.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately. All outstanding payments become due, and prepaid services may be refunded according to our policies. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall continue in effect.

Appeal Process

Clients who believe they have been wrongfully terminated may appeal the decision by contacting our management team in writing within 30 days. Appeals will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and our decision will be final.

Governing Law

Applicable Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the specific local jurisdiction where our services are provided. All legal relationships arising from these Terms are subject to EU consumer protection laws.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall first be addressed through good faith negotiations between the parties. We encourage direct communication to resolve issues promptly and amicably.

Direct Negotiation
First step involves direct communication between client and management to resolve disputes amicably.
Mediation
If direct negotiation fails, disputes may be submitted to professional mediation services.
Legal Action
As a last resort, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration or competent courts.

Jurisdiction and Venue

Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the courts of the jurisdiction where Line-UP operates, unless EU consumer protection laws provide for alternative venues. Both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Invalid provisions will be replaced with valid provisions that most closely achieve the original intent.
